No mosquitos today.. river was a bit high but the water was nice!!!! Great day for the river... No horseflys today!!!!

This was my second time at this campground. First stay was amazing, no issues what so ever. Nice access to the river, huge lots and free firewood! However this time around we were harassed by our neighbors (to say the least). The caretakers son was at our site with us until 1230am (one would think we werent being loud or disrespectful to other campers as they had joined us). They were unhappy with the noise coming from our site even with music off at quiet time. Without politely or calmly asking us to keep it down our neighbors approached our group the following morning very hostile and unreasonable. After trying to make ammends, and apologize for any wrong doings on our part, we were name called and threatened (twice). Once this situation was brought up to the caretakers he had not much to say. We were told to wait for them to come back with a resolution. After waiting for over an hour we decided to continue on with our day and have drinks and enjoy the water. 12 hours later we were then told to leave and encouraged us to drive home after a day of drinking.

If you're fine camping without services this campground is beautiful and quiet. We were in their "overflow" campground and we thought it was better than the main campground. Inexpensive rates, pet friendly, walking trails everywhere, free fire wood, friendly staff who kept the place very clean and very treed sites!

Nice site and close to the river, however due to a couple issues with our neighbours the caretaker decided to ask us to leave. Being asked to to leave wasn't the issue, the fact the the caretaker who i can only describe as spineless was super wishy washy on whether or not he'd kick us out that morning. Once it seemed like we weren't getting the boot we went and had some drinks and hung out in the river, fast foreward to 9:30 pm after a day of beers and sun guess who comes up to our site and tells us to leave even after we said we had been drinking he encouraged us to drive back to edmonton anyhow. to top things off the caretakers wife "who we hadn't met at this point" walked into our site and started taking photos of our license plates and got very aggressive with us when we were uncomfortable with this. in conclusion the site is nice, but management is terrible and a bunch of crooks, we understand we weren't perfect, but to handle the situation like that is totally unacceptable.

Right by the river, family friendly and going to get better when the new trails are complete!
