I give 5/5 For their customer service. The husband and wife team are absolutely delightful. I give 2/5 For the rates. $35 per night is great if you have a trailer, however it's the same rate for non power tenting spots, which I find to be a bit unfair. Their wood is $7 a bundle and that for 7 pieces of split wood only. You're not allowed to use any dead wood on the ground and not allowed to chop wood in your spots. I doubt I'll be returning to this place again while im still using a tent.
Took a while to get a spot that would fit our unit. Needs a lot of attention. Trees growing in the parking pad. It was a joke place 8 years ago when. we were there last. With a little more attention to up keeping such as mowing whipper snipping it could be a ln easy 4 star place to stay.
Most sites are very narrow and many are quite uneven. Most of the sites in the trees are not suitable for large units. The open sites have a raised concrete pad that makes it difficult for many units to put the steps down. This happened to us and we witnessed several others with the same problem. I did not see any 50 amp sites mostly 30 amp although 50 amp is advertised. This appears to be an old run down campground that the new owners are attempting to revive, but very slowly. If you have a small unit the sites should be fine. The roads were in terrible condition with huge potholes. There appears to be a security gate at the entrance but it is not functioning. Disappointing stay. We won't be back.
We stayed here as part of a group of 7 touring cyclists. The owners showed us a nice grassy spot for group camping. Rates were very reasonable. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and campers were not noisy.
This a very old RV Park with little to no apparent upgrades in decades. The dirt road into and around the campground is horrible, many large deep potholes. When it rains, it's a muddy mess. The power poles don't have a circuit breaker so you have to plug into a hot 30 amp plug. At $35 dollars a night this campground is over priced compared with the quality of facilities at other $35 a night campgrounds. Having said all that, the sites are large with easy in and out access for big rigs. Keep your expectations in check.
